The club was sad to hear of the recent passing of former club member John Munday. John passed at home peacefully on Friday 27 March 2026.

John become involved with the club through the 1980’s and 90’s, initially supporting his son Neil in his few years of racing with the club and later continuing involvement with the club after Neil finished racing. John was a key figure in the organising of the Open 10 time trials for a few years and running evening events with his wife assisting as timekeeper.

John continued to follow cycling and watched the racing right up to his last days, he was always amazed at the time-trial speeds of today.
